Summer Camp for Girls

On the first Sunday evening of each session girls select four elective activities for the week. These activities are instructional in nature and are held for a period of approximately an hour long each, Monday through Friday. Girls choose new elective activities each week.

During the afternoon Optional Recreation period (commonly called Optional Rec), girls can pursue any of the dozen activities offered daily and may switch activities at their leisure. Girls often use this time to hang out at the waterfront, make friendship bracelets by the brook or visit activities they haven’t tried before.

Evenings are spent in a variety of activities either with the Cabin group, the Unit group, or the entire camp. Favorite evening activities include the Talent Show, the Native American Ceremony, a dance with a nearby boy’s camp (for girls 11 years old and older), campfires, and camping out.

With our daily Theme Nights, every day at camp is different from the one before!
