Meeting old Friends again

Activities: See the link for the overall planned weekend activities on the 100 Year Celebration page. A new activity is MohawkMemories. All Mohawkers have amazing memories that they share with family and friends for years after their last days as a camper. Find a few minutes, at some point throughout the weekend, to share your FAVORITE memory through a MohawkMemories video booth. Your memory will become part of the Camp Mohawk Archives to be shared for generations to come. The timing and location of the MohawkMemories booth will be listed in the 100 Year Celebration Weekend Program.

As you prepare to tell us your Mohawk Memory, here are some questions for you to ponder:

  • Who are the people of Mohawk that you remember most fondly? (ie. specific campers, counselors, etc.)?
  • What were some of your most favorite Mohawk Activities? How were they different, similar, from/to what you experienced when you weren’t at camp?
  • What Mohawk experience do you find yourself recalling to friends and family even years later?
  • Which unit(s) were you a camper/counselor in, and how did your identity with that unit impact your experience as a camper?
  • What do you wish you could tell your “camper” self about the importance of Mohawk in your life?
