Send a Girl to Camp and Change Her Life!

HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?

Not every girl who wants to come to Camp Mohawk can attend. Each summer, Mohawk provides financial assistance to girls who otherwise would not be able to afford camp. In recent years, Mohawk has provides support for an average of 35 campers each summer, but we want to– and we can– do more. That’s why we launched Project 80: a fundraising campaign to help us send 80 girls to camp each summer with Mohawk camperships.

By donating to PROJECT 80, not only are you giving a child the chance to attend Mohawk who does not have the financial means, but you’re also changing her life.

Mohawk gives girls the opportunity to grow as people, friends, and leaders in their communities.

The Next One Hundred

 Keep Mohawk strong for the Next One Hundred Years

As we celebrate our 100th year, we want to sustain the fundamental values we have instilled in young girls lives for the past century. We want to guarantee a prosperous future for Camp Mohawk and we need your help to build the first Mohawk endowment. Growing an endowment for Camp Mohawk will help us maintain and continue serving young girls with the experience of a lifetime, for the next 100 years!

An endowment will ensure that Camp Mohawk has the resources to support any ups and downs over the coming years, and will also help us invest in our future, include new infrastructure to our programs, and serve more girls over the coming years. The Next One Hundred will provide a stable, predictable source of income for our non-profit organization and is a testament to Mohawk’s plan to sustain our future.

Mohawk Spirit Society: Mohawk Society members have confirmed their long-term commitment to the mission of YMCA Camp Mohawk by planning a gift bequest in their wills and estate planning to help children and families benefit from a Camp Mohawk experience for many years into the future.

Looking For Another Way to Give?

Our Annual Spring Work Day is this coming May. It is a day for any parents, campers, staff past and present, to come and lend a hand in getting camp ready for the summer! We have projects big and small that you can help with!  Lunch is provided for the volunteers and we will be there rain or shine! Stay tuned for dates and details!
