What is the first day of camp like?

When you arrive at camp, you will park in the ball-field. There, you will find out what cabin your daughter is in, and your large luggage will be sent up to the cabin. Then, you and your daughter will set up her store account and check in with the nurse. If she is taking horseback riding lessons, there is a possibility she will take a riding test. Once she is settled, your daughter’s counselor will take their cabin on a tour of camp. All campers will take a swim test on this day. After dinner, the entire camp will begin the process for activity sign-ups. Each camper will sign up for four activities for the week. Afterwards, the cabin will partake in a great cabin activity and get to know each other.
