Where do your counselors come from?

A number of our counselors come up through the ranks as Mohawk campers, counselors-in-training, junior counselor, and then counselor. Other counselors are recruited from colleges throughout the United States and from other English speaking countries. Counselors are selected based on experience with children, maturity, leadership skills, sense of humor, energy, creativity, particular skills, and their desire to be a role model for children. Cabin counselors are a minimum of 18 years old. Junior counselors are 17 years old.
