Meet A Mohawker: Hannah Cooke
Everyone should get excited, because we are introducing our first international staff member! Everyone meet Hannah Cooke, one of our newest hires! Hannah is from Leeds, in the UK and is soooo excited to be joining the Mohawk family!
Hannah is studying geography right now in university. She has joined rowing at uni, and has really enjoyed the experience of learning how to row. She also plays the flute in the concert band. When she is not busy will her numerous activities, she likes to explore the town of Leicester (where her uni is) and go to various shops and cafes with her friends!
Hannah is very excited to come to camp this summer. She chose to come to camp this summer because she wanted to gain a new experience by coming to America. She is looking forward to leaving home for three months to adventure over to the States. She is excited to grow in confidence, as well has get to know and give back to the girls of Mohawk.
You will be able to see Hannah down at the Waterfront this summer lifeguarding, teaching swimming, and teaching rowing. When asked what is something silly you want to do this summer, and she said that she wants to learn all the funny American slang. So if you see Hannah teach her something funny that we say that they don’t say in the UK. She is most excited to meet people from all over the world, and to become friends with as many people as possible. She is very eager to explore the little town of Litchfield, and truly get to know camp and its little corner of the world.
