Welcome back to the Camp Mohawk Blog! Fall is in full swing here on Mohawk mountain, the trees are turning and the temperature is dropping. Although the camper’s have been gone for over a month now, we have not slowed down here in the office.
September was very busy for us as we had our 100th Celebration, and mother/daughter weekend, as well as a couple other groups that came through.
Camp is opening its registration to early bird prices, for families who attended camp in the past! Make sure you grab your spot soon! As always you can register through our website www.campmohawk.org
Early bird registration ends October 15th! So make sure you grab those discounted prices soon!
If you have any questions feel free to call the office at (860)672-6655
We still have a ton of space in our senior trips, both Cape Cod and Day Trips!
Trips are truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. You get to travel with your best friends, and go on amazing adventures!
Senior trips are a great way to shake up your camp experience. The first week of camp is traditional camp, where you will be able to take all the classes you want, and participate in all camp activities. On the second Monday of camp you will leave camp to go on your respective trips.
Cape Cod leaves that second Monday after breakfast to travel to Eastham where they will stay in private cabins at a hostel. They will participate in a bike tour of Eastham, surfing lessons, a kayak tour of the marshes, and a 3 hour whale watch off the coast of Provincetown. While there counselors will grocery shop, and cook for the girls. Campers will have access to a computer so they can email their parents, and keep them updated on the trip.
If you are not fully committed to leaving camp for a full week, day trips is the program for you! Everyday the girls get to participate in a new adventure. They will get to experience rock climbing, Brownstone Exploration and Discovery Park, a high ropes adventure park, and Six Flags New England. Every day they will make their sandwiches at camp, and bring them along with them on the trip. They come back to camp by 4 pm, and they still get to participate in theme nights, and the evening activities of the second week. We still have space in all sessions, so sign up today to grab your spot! If you have any questions please feel free to call the office at (860)672-6655.
We have officially started taking applications in for the CIT Program of 2020. You can find the application, and the reference forms, on the front page of our website. Applications are due November 30th!
