What’s Happening at Camp?!

Spring is upon us, and you know what that means! Camp is less 90 days away! So we thought we would let you know what’s going on at camp!
We have started our international hires! We have been on a roll hiring new staff members from around the world! Just last week we hired a new swim instructor from England! We are so excited to officially meet our new staff this June!
We have planned our first ever CIT orientation! Now that we have 24 future world leaders ready to hit the ground running, we want to get them involved as soon as possible! So if you come to Open House on May 19th you will get to meet some of our new CIT’s.
Staff housing construction is well underway! We recently had demo day to start renovating some of our support staff housing!
We went to Tri-State. Patrick, Alison, and Mariah all went to the ACA Tri-State conference to learn about how we can make this summer even better. We got to collaborate with so many other camping professionals, and got great ideas for camp!
Camp is super close to being full this summer! Registrations have been flying in for the summer of 2019. We have loads of returning campers this summer, but are also very excited to welcome our new Mohawkers.
Camp is so close! We get to move back on site in April which is so exciting for us, because we have been cooped up in our winter office. Summer is quickly approaching, and we can’t wait to see you there!
